Its It's legit. Great truffle flavor. There's a bit of salt but it doesn't overpower. Great balance!

This black truffle powder seasoning by Taste of Truffles lists as ingredients black truffle, mushrooms, and truffle salt. It smells and tastes as you would expect from the ingredients — there's a strong taste and flavor of truffle, but you do also smell and taste the mushrooms and the salt. I understand adding mushroom — after all, truffles are expensive! The salt I guess is what makes this a seasoning — while a lot of things do benefit from the salt, I would rather have the salt left out so I can add it separately. The only thing I can compare it to is the truffle seasoning from Sabatino Tartufi. This one tastes better and more natural, though the Sabatino has a stronger smell of truffle as it uses some sort of truffle flavoring rather than real truffles. I like this one better for most things, though for anything where I need to compete with other strong flavors (say adding it to Cheetos — don't knock it till you try it!) I'll use the Sabatino. This has my recommendation.
